Endeavor left St. Pete, Florida to collect data in the Gulf of Mexico, Mississippi Canyon from June 18, 2010 to June 28, 2010. The cruise searched and located subsurface oil plumes using TETHYS (in-situ mass spectrometer) mounted on autonomous underwater vehicle, Sentry and collected water in them, around them, and far from them; used standard management and collection plans for water samples and CTD data.
